Fishing for River Smallies - How Far Would You Go to Catch a Bass?

Wade fishing the Upper Potomac River for smallmouth bass on a 95 degree day... Can't beat it! Eric and I fished a 400 yard stretch of the river and managed to find groups of bass hidden in certain grass clumps, holes, and current breaks. We would go 20-30 minutes without a bite then catch 3-6 bass in a several minute time-span on tubes and topwaters when we found em! The best wading water shoes I've ever used - superior traction and support (does not allow rocks in) Help support small businesses and check out the swimbaits and draggin' heads that Eric used! ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Rod/Reel/Line/Lures used: -Zoom salty super tube (green pumpkin) -Strike King Tube Jighead (1/8 ounce) -Suffix 832 braid (10 lbs) -Seaguar Tatsu fluorocarbon (12 lbs - leader) -Shimano JDM Aldebaran BFS baitcasting reel -Bass Pro Shops Bionic Blade 6'6" med/fast --------------
